Last weekend was Iowa State's VIESHA. We had never been before and quite honestly I never really thought it was an event for families to attend. I stand corrected! Actually, I can't really vouch for the other days but Saturday it was totally family friendly. It was exciting to see so many families out enjoying themselves on campus.
Jonathan and Ali accompanied Sophia and I to the parade and for part of the afternoon. Sophia thoroughly enjoyed her first parade. She just watched and watched as everything passed by. The sirens from the fire trucks didn't even scare her. It was a great experience and we hope to bring daddy next year!
