A Quick Update

This past week Sophia has been sick. It's actually been a full week of her being sick. I thought she was getting through it this weekend but last night I was up with her 5 different times. That is very unusual for Sophia when she is here at home. She's been coughing and spitting her formula back up. I haven't slept well since she's been sick because in the middle of the night she coughs and it sounds like she's choking. My heart starts racing when I hear her do this. I'm sure most of you mothers can relate to this feeling. I hear EVERY little cough. I'm really hoping that she will be better by this weekend since we have the Paulsen Christmas then. We don't want a sick baby at Christmas!

At the current moment I am baking snickerdoodles. The aroma in our house is really putting me into the Christmas spirit. I love the smell of cinnamon! I'm sure once Brent gets home from work he will enjoy walking into a house that smells like cookies baking. Oh a quick update on my brother, Jonathan. His replacements arrived earlier this week and he will hopefully be able to leave at the end of this week. Please pray for a safe flight back to the states. We hope that he makes it home for Christmas.
